Stephen Olsen, OD
Dr. Stephen Olsen has enjoyed practicing in Lake Oswego since he started seeing patients at Oswego Optique in 1997. After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University, Dr. Olsen decided to stay in the Northwest, although he still has ties to his home state of Montana. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association. Steve is a supportive member of the Lake Oswego community, married to fellow optometrist Shari Mace, with two children in college.
Shari Mace, OD
Dr. Shari Mace is a graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry and has practiced in this area for many years. After spending 20 years practicing with a Lasik and cataract surgeon, Shari is now practicing at Oswego Optique with her husband, Dr. Olsen. She enjoys working with children, dry eyes, and surgery evaluations. She is a native of Colorado, but was convinced by Dr. Olsen to stay in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Now firmly rooted, with children born and raised in Lake Oswego, she is a happy member of the local community.
Scott Cooper, OD
Dr. Scott Cooper has been working part-time at Oswego Optique for many years, while also working at Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Cooper’s areas of expertise and research include visual performance, visual perception, vision and learning, and case analysis. Dr. Cooper is a fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.

Your exam begins with special testing performed by our ophthalmic technician. This may include screening for glaucoma and a retinal scan.
Selecting your lenses and frames is a very personal choice. A wide variety of options are available that can be tailored to suit not only your visual needs but also your fashion preferences. Our experienced opticians will help you select the right look and function for your glasses to fit your lifestyle and budget. We carry over 500 frames in our optical – with all the choices available, the experience can be daunting without the right guidance. No appointment is needed to shop for glasses/frames or complimentary glasses adjustments!
Denise Sheerman, Optician and Manager
Denise Sheerman has worked at Oswego Optique for over 20 years. Her experience and sense of style are available to help you select a frame and lens combination that fit your needs – whether you want your fashion statement to be flashy or low-key. Denise makes sure we have a great variety of frames in our optical – for everyday dress, occupational, or recreational eyewear and sunglasses.
